Like all model railways Ballyconnell Road is never really finished, and, at the time of writting, December 07, a number of projects are in hand, these may be summarised as follows.

Mick has turned his hand to another loco, this time the GNRi 'S' class 4-4-0, which will be our first blue loco. this time he has decided to incorporate working (well moving) inside valve gear and the photo shows this in construction with the cranks on the driving wheels, the motor will be in the tender driving the driving wheels through a layshaft, pick up on the tender wheels will be using split axles

Steve is working on the signals, there are 7 of them and they have appeared on the layout at some shows, working but not complete. the pictures show progress to date

Andrew is currently doing five UTA coaches, these are Worsley works etches, due to the extra width the roof is the standard Ali roof split down the centre and widened

New buildings are currently in hand, we did not like the row of cottages and these are being replaced with a garage, and the signal box is being built (third try)

More road vehicles are underway these include a new bus and a fire engine.
